The higher education challenges for rural area in the Maharashtra is three fold, namely necessary infrastructure, permanant qualified teaching faculty and appropriate job oriented courses. Arts and Commerce college Dodi Bk. is a second senior college in Sinnar Tehsil. The parent institute was established in the name of the highly revered spiritual saint Shri Brahmanand Swami. Late dada patil kedar was the founder of the institution. In his life He actively worked for social welfare and was fully devoted to social cause. The present Parent institution Shri Brahmanand Swami Shikshan Prasarak Mandal was established in 1979 to provided education to the under privileged and socially & economically weaker section of the society. Shri Brahmanand Swami shikshan prasarak mandal established Arts and Commerce College in rural hilly area in 2003. The Arts and Commerce College, Dodi Bk. greatly contributed to the students who could not afford to go for higher education. It has full-fledged Arts & Commerce Faculties leading to U.G. degree. At the B.A. level there are six special subject i.e. Marathi, English Political science, Economics, History and Geography while in Commerce faculty Marketing is the special subject. For the development of the college, National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is mandatory. Hence our college is under the process of NAAC. In view of this, on 21 March 2023, the college submitted IIQA and SSR submitted on 15 July 2023 for NAAC. On 9 August 2023 the college has submitted D.V.V. for NAAC. The college is always committed to promote innovation in learning processes and to emerge as a center of academic excellence.
