About Examination

Regular class tests will be held in all subjects in the month of November. Mid–term Examination will be held in all subjects in the month of November. The Test Examination of Part – I candidates will be held in the month of March. Students must appear and qualify Test/Selection Examination, failing that they would not be allowed to appear in the University Examination. For students of the second and third year the same scheme of evolution will be followed.

Rules & Evaluation Scheme

Honours students must secure at least 35% marks in their class test, and also in the preparatory examination.The minimum marks to be secured in an Honours examination (C.U.) is 35% for B.A. students. For science students this criterion is 30%, separately for theoretical and practical but 35% in aggregate in the Honours subject.For General Students, the minimum marks are 25% for B.A. students and 25% separately for theoretical and practical in case of B.Sc. students. Candidates must secure at least 20% marks separately in both Compulsory English and MIL and at least 30% marks in aggregate of the two subjects.
